What's new for 2011?
DocSite Features: Covisint DocSite PQRS will be offering two additional measures groups in addition to the 12 CMS-approved measures groups already offered:
- Asthma
- Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG)
Additional Validation:
Covisint DocSite is incorporating increased validation into the 2011 PQRS application to reflect 2011 program changes.
PQRS Program Changes:
- PQRI has changed to PQRS (Physician Quality Reporting System).
- All 30 patients submitted via measures groups in 2011 must be Medicare Part B Fee-For-Service.
- CMS has implemented a new rule regarding 0% performance rates. An answer of "Not Done/unknown" for all 30 patients for a given measure within the selected measures group will result in a performance rate of 0% for that measure and the provider will not be eligible for the PQRS incentive.
- The incentive in 2011 is 1% of an eligible provider's total estimated Medicare Part B Physician Fee Schedule (PFS) allowed charges.
